Located thirty minutes drive away from our hotel this wetland is high biodiversity area and inhabitant for numerous kinds of flora and fauna. This sacred buddhist temple just few minutes away from Negombo town and fame because of its sculptures. At the entrance there is a "Samadhi" Buddha statue which is six meters tall and appeasing every ones mind who visit in here. The entrance door of the temple has made look like dragon's mouth and inside of the temple you can found large number of murals, paintings and sculptures. The creations of the temple is describing historical stories, hell concept of Buddhism and much more. There is a 300 plus years old library inside the temple also so you can explore more about this historical place on your next vacation to Sri Lanka.

St. Marie's Church is the most iconic and one of the oldest church you can found in Negombo and it's located heart of the town.
